Our Operations

Medicine Ward 2 is a general medical care ward focused on stroke and internal medicine. Here, you will gain broad competence in general medicine and stroke care. We are a cheerful and cohesive group striving to continuously develop our care. We value a safe work environment where everyone, both patients and staff, feel involved and satisfied.

Primarily, our patients come from our own emergency department, which means that as a nurse with us, you will meet the patient in the acute phase, but we also receive patients for aftercare from the Academic Hospital. During scheduled periods, rotation to our sister ward, Medicine Ward 1, may occur. Medicine Ward 1 is a general medical care ward focused on cardiology and internal medicine.

Your Mission

As a night nurse with us, you will work in a team with a nursing assistant, collaborating in close care and providing support and security to the patient in their situation.

Your Qualifications

We are looking for a licensed nurse. Experience in stroke and/or cardiac care and at least 1 year of professional experience as a nurse is advantageous.

As a person, we want you to be meticulous, responsible, and enjoy teamwork. It is important that you thrive in working in a structured and efficient manner and have the ability to adjust your work pace when necessary. We place great emphasis on your personal qualities.

We Offer

We offer a permanent full-time position with a start date according to agreement. We provide all staff working with stroke patients a stroke competence training online at Umeå University – a total of 3 credits.
