As an administrator within Technical Services at the Göta Engineer Regiment, you will become an important part of the regimental staff. You will ensure that planning, maintenance, and logistics flows operate efficiently – thereby directly contributing to the unit's operational capability.

About the unit

Technical Services is a central part of logistics within the Swedish Armed Forces and is responsible for ensuring that vehicles and equipment are in the right condition when needed. The mission includes preventive and corrective maintenance, spare parts supply, as well as support and training in material management. The logistics department at the Göta Engineer Regiment leads and coordinates the regiment's logistics, manages vehicles and equipment, and ensures competence and preparedness for both national and international missions.

Main Responsibilities

The position as an administrator in Technical Services plays an important role in the regimental staff. Much of your work will take place within closely related and often joint projects and work areas with other employees in the department. You will be involved in planning, preparation, and reporting of maintenance production to the Armed Forces' workshops and inspection unit as well as civilian subcontractors. The role includes ongoing contact with workshops, customers, and users of vehicles and equipment. In addition, you will also support other tasks within the logistics department.

The role broadly includes the following:

  • Orders, registers, protocols, and calendars regarding logistics.
  • Planning, follow-up, and registration of material maintenance and spare parts supply.
  • Development within Technical Services locally with a focus on everyday rationality at the regiment.
  • Preparation and execution of vehicle and material transports.

Qualifications

  • Three-year upper secondary education or equivalent knowledge deemed comparable by the employer.
  • Experience in administrative work.
  • Good computer skills, especially in MS Office.
  • Driving license B.

Meritorious

  • Experience in logistics tasks.
  • Post-secondary education in logistics.
  • Experience in the Swedish Armed Forces or the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration.
  • Completed military service or basic military training.
  • Experience with IT support systems PRIO/SAP, LIFT, RSF, LOGFAS.
  • Driving license C.
  • Military driving certificates.
