The Staffing Center is a municipal operation and is responsible for Huddinge municipality's substitute management within its own organization. Our mission is to staff and recruit hourly substitutes for various operations within functional support and elderly care during short-term absences such as illness, vacation, or training.

We are currently looking for summer substitutes for our elderly homes in central Huddinge. The residences are called Västergården, Björnkulla, Tallgården, and Rosendalsgården. All are located within a short distance from Huddinge center and are easily accessible by bus or car. Rosendalsgården has places for people with somatic issues, while our other residences have places for both people with somatic illnesses and with dementia.

The job responsibilities include meeting our users' individual needs for care, support, and activities. You treat the residents with respect, focusing on making them feel safe and involved in their care. The assignment also includes medication management after delegation from a nurse.

Your Profile

To be considered for the job, you need to be available at least three days a week and be able to work varying hours that may occur during the day and evening, or alternatively at night, both weekdays and weekends. Since you work at different times of the day, particularly high demands are placed on flexibility. You need to be able to work during the summer, and it is an advantage if you are available for substitutes with a monthly schedule for at least 4 consecutive weeks. We also welcome availability during the spring as a substitute.

You who apply for the position have experience working in elderly care, preferably from working in nursing homes. It is advantageous if you are a trained nursing assistant and have work experience with dementia and medication delegation.

The work places high demands on initiative, collaboration, and problem-solving. You need to be confident in yourself and comfortable working with individuals who are in great need of continuity, structure, and care. We are looking for someone who has a professional approach characterized by a good view of people and good treatment.

You have a good command of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.

Good computer skills are required as documentation is done on a computer.
