💼 Job responsibilities

As an Installation and Service Technician at Swedelift, you will have a varied and practical job where you contribute to increasing accessibility in people's daily lives. You primarily work with the installation and assembly of stair and platform lifts in private homes, but also perform ongoing service where you test functions, troubleshoot, and check batteries and safety components. The work combines shorter service visits with larger installations and can sometimes be physically demanding.

You work from home and receive your work orders directly on your mobile phone, where you both plan and report your assignments. You have your own service vehicle with the necessary tools and pick up materials from the warehouse as needed. Even though you work independently, support is always available from your colleagues – the team maintains close contact via chat and phone and helps each other when needed. Your work area is primarily Stockholm and surrounding areas, but longer trips and occasional overnight stays may occur.

• Install and assemble stair lifts and platform lifts in homes and public environments

• Perform service visits to ensure functionality and safety

• Receive, plan, and report work orders via mobile phone

• Work independently and start from home with your own service vehicle

🔍 Education, experience, and personal qualities

• Strong technical interest

• Work experience in installation, service, or troubleshooting within technology, construction, vehicles, or similar is highly meritorious

• Fluent Swedish and good knowledge of English, both spoken and written

• Driving license B
