Järfälla Summer Camp is a strategic initiative from the municipality to provide our students with the best conditions for a successful school experience and improved knowledge results. Through a combination of intensive pedagogical training during school hours and meaningful leisure time in collaboration with the Culture, Democracy, and Leisure Committee in the afternoons, we aim to create a whole that strengthens students' learning.

The Summer Camp will be held at Aspnässkolan, Tallbohovskolan, and Ulvsättraskolan.

As a teacher during the Summer Camp, you play a key role in the students' learning and development.

The Summer Camp will take place from June 15-18, June 22-26, June 29-30, and July 1.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for engaged and attentive teachers with a positive outlook!

Your job responsibilities will be as a teaching teacher focused on mathematics instruction at one of the schools.

You are responsible for planning and conducting instruction based on the handover from the schools regarding students' knowledge, as well as conducting an initial screening to plan instruction based on students' specific needs. If necessary, you will need to maintain close communication with guardians to ensure that each student receives maximum support during the weeks of our Summer Camp. You will work together with another teacher in a group of about 30 students.

Together, you are responsible for creating and developing a safe and secure environment that attracts and challenges students to activity, learning, and responsibility. You plan and follow up on instruction and analyze and assess the results.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who:

• Finds it easy to collaborate with students, colleagues, guardians, and other staff. You relate to children and adults in a responsive and smooth manner and listen, communicate, and resolve conflicts constructively. You see collegial learning as a given and a prerequisite for creating new and deepened knowledge.
• Plans, organizes, and prioritizes work effectively. You have high and positive expectations for students and are solution-focused. Furthermore, you possess a strong desire to work to create the best pedagogical conditions for students.
• You have good self-awareness, are secure in yourself and in your pedagogical leadership, and have the ability to take leadership both inside and outside the classroom.
• Are skilled at creating security and building trusting relationships with both students and guardians in a short time.
• Are adept at adjusting your teaching based on the group's needs and the conditions that arise during a holiday school.
• You have advanced knowledge in the subject of mathematics and have a good ability to teach basic skills in a fun way.
• You are driven by seeing students grow and have the ability to follow up and document progress during a short and intensive period.

Meritorious:

• Teaching degree or certification.
• You have just completed your final year of the teacher program with a focus on primary school lower grades.

The position requires good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form.

Interviews are conducted on an ongoing basis, and the positions may be filled before the recruitment period has ended.
