The Education Administration is responsible for preschool, after-school care, primary school, high school, and adapted primary and secondary schools. We have over 3,200 employees at 45 preschools, 22 primary schools, and four high schools. About Tullinge High School

Tullinge High School is a popular municipal school currently with 750 students.

In the autumn of 2026, a comprehensive expansion will be completed, and we will grow to 1,100 students over three years. The school is structured as a campus where all our buildings are newly renovated, and we will have a lush, car-free outdoor environment. A new large sports hall is also being built on our premises.

Our programs include the Business Program, Natural Science Program, Social Science Program, Technology Program, and Health and Social Care Program. A new addition this autumn is the Aesthetic Program with a focus on fashion design. We have applicants with high merit scores and reserves for all our programs. Our students are those who want to develop themselves and their knowledge, and we excel at challenging them as well as providing support when needed. The atmosphere at the school is characterized by our Tullinge spirit, with a strong sense of community, friendly interactions, and a calm environment for studies.

Open Positions

We are now looking for a teacher in fashion design for our newly started Aesthetic Program. You will be an important driving force in the development of the program as well as teaching our students. The position is part-time for the first year unless you are qualified in other subjects; next academic year, the position may transition to full-time.

We Offer You

You will be involved in building our new Aesthetic Program with a focus on fashion design. We are currently the only ones offering this focus in the Stockholm area, and our goal is to provide a modern industry-relevant education that becomes the best possible option for students. In our newly renovated school, we will furnish a textile studio on its own floor.

The position therefore involves, in addition to teaching, the development of our facilities and building an external network of educators and companies in the industry. We have initiated a collaboration with Beckmans, Tillskärarakademin in Stockholm, Tillskärarakademin in Gothenburg, and Changers hub in Botkyrka. One of our goals is for interested students to be able to apply for education in the fashion industry directly after graduation.

You Who Apply to Us

You are a very clear and empathetic leader in the classroom who can engage and challenge students regardless of their prior knowledge. The education is broad, so your knowledge in fashion design should encompass fashion, design, pattern construction, and sewing. You should have current knowledge of the changes the fashion industry is undergoing and be aware of possible education and career paths for our students after high school.

To provide students with a comprehensive education, you see mentorship as an important part of your role and have a strong interest in collaborating with teachers, guardians, and other professionals at the school. A teaching certification is a prerequisite for a permanent position. A network within the industry and professional experience in areas such as design, pattern construction, or sewing is advantageous.
