GRIM Islandshästar AB is looking for a senior, confident, and experienced leader who wants to take operational overall responsibility for our business.

This is a central and trust-bearing role for you who have experience with Icelandic horses, are used to leading in everyday life, and enjoy combining structure, planning, and practical work in the stable.

We are looking for someone who wants to ensure that horses, staff, customers, and operations function professionally, sustainably, and with high quality.

About the role

As the operational manager, you will have overall responsibility for the daily operations of the horse business.

The role involves both administrative planning and practical work. You will lead staff in their daily tasks and be actively involved in the stable and training/education. You will report to the owner/management.

Responsibilities

· Coordinate bookings, schedules, and horse planning

· Plan and lead staff in daily work

· Be responsible for daily oversight, care, and training of horses

· Actively work on the education of the horses

· Ensure structure, quality, and horse welfare in stable routines

· Contribute to the stable operation functioning smoothly and developing

Qualifications

· Documented experience with Icelandic horses (required)

· Several years of experience in stable and horse operations

· Previous experience in leadership or management

· Good organizational skills and holistic view

· Confident, communicative, and solution-oriented

· B driver's license (required)

· Good knowledge of Swedish and English

Employment conditions

· Full-time

· Permanent employment with a 6-month probation period

· Evening/weekend work included

· Start date according to agreement

· Possibility of accommodation on the farm may exist
