Aspnässkolan is a F–6 school with about 265 students, located in the center of Jakobsberg with close proximity to commuter trains and good communications.

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a licensed primary school teacher with qualifications to teach grades 4-6 with expertise in Swedish and social studies. You will work as a teaching teacher and, together with your grade-level colleague, be responsible for mentorship in grade 5.

You will be responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating teaching, mentorship, and contact with guardians.

For you, collaboration is important in order to develop and grow. You should have experience working with students in need of special support. You are independent, driven, flexible, solution-focused, and unpretentious. You have a good ability to create, maintain, and develop relationships through a low-arousal approach.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a teaching license with qualifications in Swedish and social studies.
• Masters Swedish in both spoken and written form.
• Has experience teaching and can adapt instruction to students' developmental levels.
• Has experience with grading.
• Has experience teaching Swedish as a second language.

You can also work independently and have good social skills. You take responsibility and work with clear engagement in the students' knowledge and social development. You have a positive and professional attitude towards students, guardians, and colleagues. You have good leadership with a clear structure in your teaching, clear and high expectations of your students, and create good relationships.
