About our open positions

We are currently looking for nursing assistants for SÄS this summer. Care at the hospital is provided around the clock, which means you may work day, evening, night, and weekends. The SÄS summer period runs from week 23 to week 35, and to best plan and implement our summer vacancies, we value that you can work eight consecutive weeks during this period.

As a nursing assistant, you will prepare admission and discharge notes, plan nursing care, perform risk assessments for pressure ulcers, take venous samples, insert IVs, remove IVs, as well as flush and insert catheters. You will meet patients in need of surgical and medical care as well as rehabilitation. In all nursing and care activities, you will be part of a team with colleagues who may have different responsibilities and tasks. Your work will also include documenting patients' conditions and the actions taken.

Your profile

We are looking for someone who has completed semester 5 of the nursing program by June 2026 at the latest. Previous experience as a nursing assistant in inpatient care is an advantage. It is also advantageous if you can work eight consecutive weeks during our summer period, preferably weeks 25 to 32.

We place great importance on personal suitability and are looking for someone who is responsible, empathetic, has good collaboration skills with colleagues across all professional categories, and a pleasant demeanor towards patients. The work involves both independent and team-based tasks.

To provide our patients with good and safe care, it is important that our employees have good language skills and can communicate effectively in Swedish.
