About the Position

As a care assistant in home care services, you work closely with people in need of care and support in their own homes. The tasks include personal care, assistance during meals, social interaction, and walks. You are also expected to work with delegated tasks from nurses/rehab and follow applicable routines and guidelines. Furthermore, you are expected to write implementation plans based on the client's needs. The work is varied, and you work both independently and together with colleagues. The job requires a high level of engagement and active participation in developing and improving the service.

Our clients live in Norrtälje and surrounding areas, where we primarily reach our clients by car, bike, and on foot. Further down in the ad, you can choose which location you will work at.

Your Responsibilities Include:

• Providing personal care and assistance during meals.
• Participating in social interaction with clients and accompanying them on walks.
• Performing delegated tasks from nurses or rehab staff.
• Writing implementation plans based on the client's individual needs.
• Working both independently and in collaboration with colleagues to provide the best possible care.
• Actively contributing to the development and improvement of the service.

About You

For this position, you need:

• Previous experience in similar work with varied tasks.
• Basic digital competence.
• Good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form.
• The ability to cycle.

It is an advantage if you also have:

• Training as a care assistant with a professional title from the National Board of Health and Welfare.
• Experience and interest in areas such as dementia, technology, and documentation.
• A B driver's license.

Additional Information

As of July 1, 2023, the title of care assistant is a protected professional title. This means that a professional certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare is required to hold the title of care assistant. You apply for the certificate on the National Board of Health and Welfare's website. If you have care and support training according to the National Board of Health and Welfare's regulations but have not yet received the professional certificate, you can instead be employed with the title of care assistant.

If you are not a citizen of Sweden, the EU, EEA, or Switzerland, you must be able to present a valid residence/work permit or prove that you are exempt from the requirement to have a work permit. In this process, we will therefore check citizenship. We are looking for hourly employees for work as needed.
