We are looking for a licensed nurse who wants to work with us at Judiska Hemmet. The position is 100% and includes a delegated MAS role. There will be a total of six nurses in the pleasant nursing team. The nurse position is in one of the two dementia units, and you will be responsible for the care of 14 residents. The management consists of a business manager, a unit manager for the somatic unit, and a unit manager for the dementia unit, as well as an administrative manager.

You can work independently and prioritize your tasks. Communication, both oral and written, is an important part of your role, so we see that you have good communication skills and are fluent in Swedish both in speech and writing. It is a great advantage if you have leadership experience and/or some education such as organization and leadership or similar, but it is not a requirement. We also wish that you have knowledge and preferably experience with dementia diseases. As a person, you are responsible, service-oriented, and flexible, and have a genuine interest in people.

In your role as a nurse, you will perform the usual nursing tasks that occur in a special accommodation, such as assessing the health of residents, performing health and medical care measures, both acute and planned. Providing care at the end of life, documentation, risk assessments in the national quality register Senior Alert, and registration in the Swedish Palliative register. Contacting relatives and conducting care planning, liaising with doctors, and supervising staff. All interventions are performed with the resident in focus – We work person-centered and interdisciplinary both within SoL and HSL. In the role of MAS, you will assist the unit and business manager in accordance with set goals and within given frameworks, ensuring that routines are followed by nursing staff, log reviews, and reviewing HSL journals, etc.

The home is run by a non-profit organization, and we have a total of 76 apartments.
