At the clinic Center for Surgical Operations Skellefteå, intensive care is provided for children and adults, emergency and planned surgical care, anesthesia with accompanying postoperative care, and sterile technical operations. The operation is conducted in collaboration with the Surgical and Orthopedic departments, as well as other clinics both in the hospital and within the region. In collaboration with the university, we also conduct research, development, and education.

We are now looking for an Intensive Care Nurse for the Intensive Care and Postoperative Department in Skellefteå, who wants to help develop the operation and make a difference for our patients. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As an intensive care nurse with us, you contribute knowledge and commitment that makes people feel safe.

In the role of intensive care nurse in our department, you contribute to the care of intensive care patients with failure in their vital functions due to surgeries, accidents, or severe medical conditions. As we care for patients of many categories, our knowledge develops into a unique and broad knowledge base in a high-tech environment. Your tasks also include caring for postoperative patients, as the staff also covers the postoperative department and alarm functions at the hospital. You have close collaboration with nursing assistants, physiotherapists, and doctors who together form a team around the patient and their relatives.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse with further education in intensive care. We place great importance on personal qualities such as flexibility, good self-awareness, and communication skills. You are a secure person, dare to take initiative but ask for help when you need it. Finally, you are a colleague who contributes to a good atmosphere and enjoys collaborating across professional boundaries.
