Within the clinic for anesthesia, surgery, and intensive care, acute and planned surgical care, anesthesia, postoperative care, intensive care for children and adults, as well as sterile technical operations are conducted at the regional and county level in close collaboration with other clinics in the county. The clinic is also responsible for airborne intensive care in the north and for conducting research, development, and education.

At Operation 2, acute and planned surgical care and anesthesia are performed in the areas of neurosurgery, ear-nose-throat surgery, obstetrics, pediatric surgery, hand and plastic surgery, ophthalmology, maxillofacial surgery, dentistry, radiology, and ECT. Every day we work together in interdisciplinary teams and across departmental boundaries to save, improve, and extend lives. It is a challenging task that we undertake together.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As an anesthesia nurse with us, you contribute knowledge and commitment that makes people feel safe.

You are responsible for the patient's safety, quality care, and nursing before and during the operation within your specialty area. You work independently while being part of a surgical team.

With us, you are part of the surgical team that performs both emergency and elective surgery across several specialties, giving you a broad competence as an anesthesia nurse.

Since Norrland University Hospital is a teaching hospital, mentoring students is also part of your role. Mentoring students allows us to stay updated on routines and treatments for our patients.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a licensed nurse with a specialist nursing degree in anesthesia care.

As a person, we see that you are responsible. You have a good ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team and contribute to the whole.
