We are located in Lycksele, Skellefteå, and Umeå.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As an occupational therapist with us, you contribute knowledge and engagement that makes people feel safe. You will support children and families towards a more functional everyday life and improved mental well-being. With us, you will work both in teams and independently. We hope you enjoy working to advance occupational therapy and want to work on development with us at BUP. Job responsibilities may include occupational therapy treatment focusing on activity balance, daily structure, cognitive support, and more, as well as group activities, psychoeducation, and trials of assistive devices. There may be work related to assignments within inpatient care in the spring unit. Your work also includes, in addition to direct clinical patient work, contributing to implementing evidence-based methods and improving the processes of the operation such as assessments/evaluations, interventions/treatments.

You may also educate colleagues or serve as an expert externally to various partners. In this role, you create and maintain networks and working groups with colleagues and various partners such as schools, social services, and other clinics within healthcare. Since we are a regional clinic, travel to all three locations is required.

QUALIFICATIONS

For this job, you need to be a licensed occupational therapist. You are a confident and structured person with a professional approach. You have a good ability to prioritize tasks in the short and long term. You are responsible and adaptable to changing circumstances. Since we work a lot in teams, we hope you enjoy collaborating and being there for both colleagues and patients.
