Within the health and medical care administration, primary care, dental care, and hospital care are gathered in a common administration and organized into county and local healthcare areas. In the local healthcare area of Skellefteå, the Emergency Department, Medical and Geriatric Clinic, Rehabilitation Center, Psychiatric Clinic, 1177, Center for Surgical Operations, and primary care in Skellefteå and Norsjö are included. Together, these aim to provide good and close care.

Morö Backe Health Center is one of four health centers in the northern area of Skellefteå primary care. The other units are Byske, Ursviken, and Kåge health centers.

Just a stone's throw from Skellefteå center and close to the fantastic outdoor and activity area of Vitberget, you will find Morö Backe. Here lies a health center that combines the best from several worlds and focuses on the whole person, good quality, and accessibility.

At Morö Backe Health Center, over 30 employees work, and we have about 8,500 residents registered with us. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a nurse/district nurse with us, you contribute to taking good care of others and helping people feel better.

The work at the health center offers unique opportunities to combine preventive and acute healthcare with your nursing duties. You will be part of our Lifecare team that works to ensure a safe discharge from the hospital. In addition, you will meet and care for children, adolescents, adults, and the elderly in both planned and acute reception. The job is varied, ranging from telephone advice to acute reception work. You will have the opportunity to provide care and follow patients in many different situations.

At Morö Backe Health Center, you will belong to a close-knit team that supports each other, and where you become an important cog. The work offers good opportunities for practical skills development. We apply individual schedules. You will have good opportunities to balance work and leisure as we work daytime.

QUALIFICATIONS

For this job, you need to be a licensed nurse or district nurse, preferably with experience in regional or municipal primary care. It is an advantage if you have worked with home healthcare.

As a person, you are flexible, have good collaboration skills, and can work independently but also be part of a team. You are positive about change work and actively contribute to a good working environment. You are a present and warm person who, with expert knowledge and care, sees both the patient and their relatives and contributes to a holistic view that makes the care process better and safer.
