Description of the Organization

We are looking for a school nurse for Central Student Health in Robertsfors Municipality!

Central Student Health consists of school social workers, speech therapists, school doctors, school psychologists, special educators, and student health managers.

You will also participate in our local student health teams, whose primary task is to work from a preventive and health-promoting perspective. The local student health teams are led by the principal at each school, and you will work on behalf of both your immediate supervisor and our principals.

You will work at several of the municipality's primary schools and adapted primary schools. The work of student health is characterized by close collaboration between different functions to create the best possible conditions for our students' health, development, and learning.

Your Mission

As a school nurse in Robertsfors Municipality, you will play a crucial role in our students' health and well-being. Your work will encompass a range of important tasks aimed at creating a safe and healthy environment for all students. You will:

• Offer medical check-ups and health conversations to promote students' health.
• Provide guidance and support to students with various health needs and challenges.
• Collaborate with teachers and guardians to identify and address any health issues.
• Work on preventive and promotional measures to strengthen students' physical and mental health.
• Ensure that all necessary medications and treatments are handled correctly and according to applicable guidelines.

Your Competence and Experience

• You are a licensed nurse who has completed the specialist nursing program with a focus on district nursing, health care for children and adolescents, or school nursing.
• You have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.
• You have a B driver's license.

You have a holistic view and see each student in their context – both from a medical, social, and pedagogical perspective.

The Employment
