The primary goal of Kirurgcentrum Umeå is to provide high-quality and highly specialized care to our patients within Region Västerbotten as well as within the northern healthcare region. The clinic is divided into several sections: urology, breast/endocrine, vascular, colorectal, and upper gastrointestinal surgery, which provide both outpatient and inpatient care. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a specialist physician, you will be placed with a focus on one of our subsections at the clinic, which will be done in consultation with the section heads and the medical director.

QUALIFICATIONS

You who are applying have a specialist degree in general surgery, a Swedish medical license, and good knowledge of the Swedish language in both spoken and written form.

Interest in research or already started or completed doctoral studies is meritorious.

As a person, you are stable and loyal with a strong service mindset and have good collaboration skills. You can handle parallel tasks, are solution-oriented, and can adapt to changes in working methods and operations. You are structured and have a good ability to make decisions and work independently.

If your qualifications have not been peer-reviewed previously, this must occur before employment in accordance with the Regulation (1998:1518) on eligibility for certain positions within healthcare.
