Within the healthcare administration, primary care, dental care, and hospital care are gathered in a common administration and organized into county and local healthcare areas. The local healthcare area of Skellefteå includes the Emergency Department, Center for Surgical Operations, Medical and Geriatric Clinic, Rehabilitation Center, Psychiatric Clinic, 1177, as well as primary care in Skellefteå and Norsjö. Together, these will work for good and close care.

We are now seeking medical assistants for the summer of 2026 for primary care in Skellefteå and Norsjö. With us, you will have the opportunity to grow and make a difference!

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a medical assistant with us, you contribute to taking good care of others and helping people feel better.

We are looking for you who are studying medicine, have completed semester 8, and want to experience the medical profession. As a medical assistant, you will have a mix of junior doctor tasks with supervision support. You will explore our operations, accompany and assist regular staff, and in some cases, manage and meet your own selected patients. A varied job where you meet people of all ages and with many different needs.

QUALIFICATIONS

You who apply have completed at least 8 semesters of medical education with all courses passed. We require good knowledge of the Swedish language equivalent to C1.

If you are educated outside the EU, you need to have the Socialstyrelsen's decision on supplementation as well as a residence and work permit in Sweden.
