Summer Temporary Position as a Nursing Assistant at Skellefteå Hospital

Skellefteå Hospital is a modern and well-equipped emergency hospital located on the Västerbotten coast. Together with twelve health centers, the hospital provides care and services to the residents of Skellefteå and Norsjö municipalities.

In addition to health and medical care, there is a dedicated research unit focusing on both medical and nursing research. The city of Skellefteå has something for everyone - great shopping, exciting sports events, and a good theater scene.

We are now looking for summer temporary staff for the summer of 2026!

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a nursing assistant with us, you contribute knowledge and engagement that makes people feel safe. You will have varied tasks as the patient groups are diverse.

In this role, you will identify risks, assess, address, and evaluate the various care needs of patients. Together with nurses, paramedics, and doctors, you will work with emergency care, nursing, rehabilitation, habilitation, and development and improvement with the patient/care recipient in focus. Your tasks also include documentation according to the Social Services Act, the Health and Medical Services Act, as well as administrative tasks.

QUALIFICATIONS

As a nursing assistant, you should have completed a nursing program or equivalent education, or be studying in a nursing program (completed semester 3) or medical program (completed semester 5).

You are a compassionate and positive person who can work and prioritize in acute and stressful situations. You are good at collaborating with different people in various professional categories.

You are proactive, ambitious, and see opportunities. It is an advantage if you can work the entire summer period.
