Skellefteå Hospital is a modern and well-equipped emergency hospital located on the Västerbotten coast. Together with twelve health centers, the hospital provides care and services to the residents of Skellefteå and Norsjö municipalities.

In addition to health care, there is a dedicated research unit focusing on both medical and nursing research. The city of Skellefteå has something for everyone - great shopping, exciting sports events, and a good theater scene.

We are now looking for summer substitutes for the summer of 2026!

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a nurse with us, you contribute to taking good care of others and helping people feel better. You work in a professional manner, always keeping the patient in focus. As a nurse, you will assess the patients' medical and specific nursing needs and then plan and prioritize the actions to be taken.

The role of a nurse also requires your ability to lead and motivate other nursing staff to create a good working environment and provide quality care together. The work requires independence and problem-solving skills, as well as making ongoing decisions in the correct order.

QUALIFICATIONS

You must have a valid nursing license.

We are looking for nurses with a lot of drive, the ability to see the big picture, and a desire to work in a workplace where the patient always comes first.

You are a compassionate and positive person who can work and prioritize in acute and stressful situations. You are good at collaborating with different people in various professional categories. You are proactive, ambitious, and see opportunities.
