Technical Service Officer (HL TT) at the Army Staff
One of the Army Staff's focus areas is to build the new army. An army that focuses on the army's capabilities in the field and in this builds new as well as restructure existing units. At the same time, the Army Staff leads units both nationally and internationally. The Army Staff develops and manages the army's war units and subordinate organizational units consisting of units and schools.
The above, combined with the continued establishment of the Army Staff as a cohesive and unifying force, makes the tasks very varied, developing, and dynamic. We are all solution-focused and take our tasks and responsibilities with great commitment where EVERYTHING for the army is our driving force.
Information about the position
The Army Staff is an independent organizational unit where the Technical and Maintenance Office (TVK) is included as a department within the Armaments Unit. TVK Mark is responsible for material maintenance, material utilization, and material maintenance economy within the Armed Forces as well as ensuring that the material is maintained in accordance with system objectives.
The position as Technical Service Officer (HL TT) belongs to the system detail Bandvagn, which is part of the Boden/Umeå section. Here, there is also the system detail IE (Indirect Fire) and CBRN (Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear) with which we collaborate closely. Together we are 25 employees located in Boden, Umeå, Östersund, and Enköping. We are all staff members in the Army Staff.
Job Responsibilities
The main work of HL TT is within technical service and management of material systems. The tasks are varied, from administrative support to colleagues and managers to participating in the development of solutions to technical problems for our material systems. Delivery controls of the material systems are also part of the work, which means that travel occurs periodically. Collaborations with other units, central staffs, functional centers, FMV, and industry are also included. Travel occurs in connection with delivery controls.
You will, among other things:
- Represent the Armed Forces during delivery controls of material
- Support the follow-up of material status, deviations, and technical orders
- Participate in user and maintenance meetings
- Prepare analysis and decision-making documents from support systems (PRIO, LIFT, etc.)
- Support the supply, distribution, and procurement of spare parts
Qualifications
- High school education or other work experience that the employer deems equivalent
- Good ability to understand and express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish and English
- Good computer skills, especially in Microsoft Office applications
- Experience of FM work within logistics, primarily technical service
- Driving license B
It is meritorious if you have:
- Technical system course and driving license Bv410, Bv309 & Bv206/208
- Longer technical experience of the aforementioned bandwagon systems
- Experience of working with system security
- Knowledge of FM material supply and material processes
- Experience of the Armed Forces' support systems LIFT and SAP (PRIO)
Personal qualities
We are looking for someone with a solid interest in technology, good collaboration skills, and ease in building networks. You are attentive, action-oriented, and able to work under pressure. Furthermore, you are independent, proactive, and have a good ability to plan and structure your work. You are driven to solve technical problems and develop methods and routines. Great emphasis will be placed on personal qualities and suitability for the position.
