Every year, the Swedish Social Insurance Agency makes 21 million decisions that affect people's lives and society as a whole. We disburse approximately 260 billion kronor every year. As a software developer with us, you will have the opportunity to grow in a role where practical learning and support from experienced colleagues are a natural part of the job. You will work in an agile team where you take responsibility for the development and maintenance of our systems.

You will work broadly within the development process – from analysis and design to implementation and testing. The work involves developing code, working with system design, and conducting technical tests. You will have the opportunity to move from containers and application servers to user interfaces and contribute to continuous integration and test automation together with the rest of the team.

You will have the chance to work with modern technologies and tools such as Vue.js, Git, OpenShift, Helm, ArgoCD, Hazelcast, ActiveMQ, Artemis, Gradle, Docker, and Kubernetes. We value a structured and secure development process, where you help create sustainable and effective system solutions.

We are looking for someone who

  • is a recent graduate or about to complete their education in IT
  • has a relevant university degree in the IT field or experiences and qualifications that can be deemed equivalent
  • acts on their own initiative and takes responsibility for achieving good results
  • collaborates effectively with others to achieve common goals
  • has good communication skills, both spoken and written
  • can understand and analyze complex issues
  • has a systematic and meticulous working method
  • has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

It is a merit if you have

  • knowledge or experience in system development in Java or equivalent
  • knowledge or experience in various testing tools
  • knowledge or experience in DevOps principles and tools
  • knowledge or experience in container technology.

Other

A permanent, full-time position, with start date according to agreement. A probationary period may be applicable. In accordance with the Swedish Social Insurance Agency's security guidelines, background checks will be conducted in this recruitment. For this position, Swedish citizenship is required.
