We are proud of our health center, which is the largest public health center in Skåne with over 14,600 registered patients within the Health Choice system. Of these, about 700 children are registered at the child health center (BVC). We are around 70 employees who collaborate to provide the best possible care and service to our patients.

At the health center, we have various clinics, including a medical clinic, nursing clinic, as well as clinics for asthma/COPD, elderly care, and diabetes. We also have physiotherapy, occupational therapy, and psychosocial services. We already work cross-professionally, and the collaboration between nurses, doctors, nursing assistants, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, dietitians, medical secretaries, psychologists, and social workers is central to our important work of providing good care to the residents of Ystad. Our goal is to contribute to good health and quality of life for our patients by ensuring they come into contact with the right person and receive the right care and treatment.

Vårdcentralen Ystad is close to the continent, beautiful beaches, and natural areas, and is within commuting distance from Lund, Malmö, and several other locations in the area.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a psychologist with us, you will primarily work with treatment contacts and assessments of patients. Treatment can take place both individually and in groups, as well as digitally through internet-based cognitive behavioral therapy (IKBT). Furthermore, you will treat patients with mild to moderate mental health issues based on evidence-based treatment methods. The work is largely conducted independently, although you will have close contact with other professional categories at the health center and be available for consultation as needed. When you start with us, you will be offered regular supervision to ensure a safe start to your employment.

• Your work with us entails significant personal responsibility with varied tasks and a wide range of different patients. It can be challenging at times and simultaneously very rewarding. In the psychosocial team, there is extensive experience, which provides great security when you start with us. Together, my closest colleague Kristina and I have extensive experience in primary care. We are available when needed and are very keen on open communication where we support each other while working with a holistic view of the operations, says Christina, who is a social worker and licensed psychotherapist at the health center.

QUALIFICATIONS

You who are applying are a licensed psychologist with the authority to practice within Swedish healthcare, preferably with a few years of experience in clinical psychological work. For the position, it is required that you have language skills in Swedish corresponding to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe's level scale.

It is a requirement that you offer internet-based cognitive behavioral therapy (IKBT), so it is important that you have previous experience with this form of treatment. If you have experience in primary care or specialist psychiatry, this is an advantage. Likewise, if you have good knowledge of psychiatric differential diagnosis.

We would like you to be proactive and explore new working methods together with your colleagues that can contribute to the development of our operations. Furthermore, it is important that you enjoy collaborating and want to contribute to our good work environment while also being able to work independently and have the ability to prioritize between different tasks on your own.
