We are a health center with around 50 employees and have over 12,000 registered patients as well as 1,000 registered children at the child health clinic. We offer various services including medical consultations, nursing consultations, asthma/COPD clinics, elderly care, diabetes care, and extensive physiotherapeutic and psychosocial services.

At Vårdcentralen Sjöbo, we focus on teamwork with a cross-professional approach to enhance a good working environment for everyone and ensure good continuity and accessibility for our patients. Examples of our cross-professional approach between different professions include our acute team, rounds, and rehabilitation coordinator (Reko). We have also developed the health center into a training health center for specialist training doctors.

Vårdcentralen Sjöbo is surrounded by beautiful natural areas and is within commuting distance from Ystad, Lund, and Malmö, as well as several other locations in the vicinity.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a psychologist, you will be part of our psychosocial team. Here you will have the opportunity to work with adults aged 18 and over with various mental and psychosocial health conditions. The work is always based on a holistic perspective with the patient in focus, and you will be involved in assessments, treatments, and consultations. The work is conducted independently, but you will collaborate with other professional groups at the health center.

In your role as a psychologist with us, you will primarily work with individual sessions, while group sessions may also be part of your responsibilities. Treatment may sometimes be conducted digitally, for example, through internet-based cognitive behavioral therapy (ICBT). There is ample room for you to put your own stamp on your work, and we want you to help further develop our operations. Supervision is included in the position. QUALIFICATIONS

We welcome you who are a licensed psychologist with the authority to practice within Swedish healthcare. Additionally, you have language skills in Swedish that at least correspond to level C1 according to the Council of Europe’s level scale.

As a person, you have a genuine interest in people and work with the patient in focus while also working towards the organization’s goals. You are secure in your professional role, positive, and contribute to a good working climate. Furthermore, you have good collaboration skills and are flexible regarding the varying tasks that may arise during a day at a health center.

It is advantageous if you have previously worked as a psychologist at a health center, have experience with digital services, and possess good knowledge of psychiatric differential diagnosis.
