The Vilan Healthcare Center in Kristianstad is looking for a driven and competent specialist physician who wants to be part of our dedicated team. We strive to offer you, as a specialist in general medicine, a patient list of 1100 on a full-time position. The Vilan Healthcare Center has approximately 6,900 registered patients. Here, a close-knit team works with a focus on accessibility according to patient needs. Teamwork is a guiding principle, and we see all members as important contributors. We have a medical clinic, district nurse clinic with services such as diabetes, asthma/COPD, hypertension/heart failure, as well as memory and elderly care clinics. We also have a child healthcare center (BVC).

In our laboratory, we have nursing assistants who handle both internal and external sampling. Additionally, we provide advice and support to nursing homes and municipal home care. We also have access to well-developed rehabilitation services with physiotherapy, dietitian, social worker, and occupational therapist. In total, we are about 30 employees at the healthcare center.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

At the healthcare center, we currently have both specialists, resident physicians, and sometimes junior doctors. We offer varied tasks with both patient work and opportunities for supervision. If interested, we can also offer you the chance to work with our elderly patients, both in home care and in residential settings. Here you will have a varied and meaningful role where you make a difference!

As a specialist physician in general medicine, you will have a diverse job where you meet patients of all ages, from children to the elderly. You will work with both scheduled and urgent visits and also have the opportunity to offer digital meetings when medically appropriate. In addition to patient encounters, you play an important role in creating a safe and developing educational environment for future specialists. Your work will primarily take place at the healthcare center, but when you feel ready, it may also involve home visits to provide care where it is most needed. Therefore, it is an advantage if you have a driver's license.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a licensed physician with permission to practice within Swedish healthcare and have specialist competence in general medicine. You have language skills in Swedish corresponding to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe’s scale. A valid B driver's license is desirable. We utilize IT support as much as possible to facilitate care and free up time for personal meetings, so it is an advantage if you have good experience working in various operational systems.
