About AvestaHälsan Health Center

AvestaHälsan Health Center has been operating since 2012 and currently has nearly 8000 registered patients. We have about 35 employees including general practitioners, resident doctors, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, midwives, child health care nurses, and district nurses with various specialties. We also have advisory nurses, medical secretaries, psychotherapists, as well as nursing assistants and our own lab.

We are a privately owned health center that has a care choice agreement with Region Dalarna, so for the individual patient, the same conditions, care guarantees, and fees apply as in a publicly run health center. AvestaHälsan Health Center is independent of large healthcare companies and operates solely in Avesta but has many registered patients from surrounding municipalities in both southern Dalarna and northern Västmanland.

Our facilities were expanded and renovated in 2021 and are well adapted for the operations. We share the property with AvestaHälsan Occupational Health Care.

Job Responsibilities

We currently have two part-time physiotherapists and wish to expand with an additional physiotherapist at approximately 80% (negotiable). You will work closely with other physiotherapists, rehabilitation assistants, and occupational therapists, as well as in a team-based manner with doctors, nurses, and psychotherapists at the health center.

Start date from April 2026 or as soon as possible thereafter.

Qualifications

Requirements

Licensed physiotherapist or licensed physical therapist.

References that can be reached by phone.

Desirable

We prefer that you have experience working in primary care, but the most important thing is that you have an interest in working in primary care.

You have a good ability and experience in collaborating both internally and externally.

You have an interest in participating in the development work of the reception.
