We are looking for a licensed art teacher for a permanent full-time position starting August 10, 2026.

The art education at our school does not correspond to a full-time position, which means that the role is a mixed position where approximately:

• about 70% consists of teaching art
• about 30% consists of school-wide assignments such as resource teacher time, relieving classroom teachers for planning, playground supervision, and the opportunity to lead an art club or other creative activities after school hours.

As an art teacher, you are responsible for:

• Planning, implementation, and follow-up of art education.
• Assessment and documentation of students' knowledge development.
• Developing students' creativity, joy of creation, and aesthetic expression.
• Contributing to an inspiring and structured learning environment.
• Collaboration in work teams and participation in staff meetings and the school's development work.

• Is a licensed art teacher for primary school.
• Has a strong interest in aesthetic learning processes and students' creative development.

Requirements:

Licensure as an art teacher for primary school.

Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written.

Meritorious

Experience teaching multiple grade levels and an interest in creative activities outside of regular teaching.

Uppsala Enskilda Skola is an independent F–5 school with approximately 260 students and is part of the Stiftelsen Liten Lär. We have ten classes and an after-school program that offers a stimulating and safe environment for our students.
