Essinge Health Center SLSO is looking for a specialist in general medicine

We are looking for someone who wants to work in an organization that prioritizes reasonable workloads, high medical quality, developing and supportive teamwork, and personal care for our listed patients.

We have approximately 7,200 listed patients and currently employ 20 staff members. Thanks to our size, the path from thought to action is short.

At the health center, we provide general practitioner services, district nurse-led diabetes and osteoporosis clinics. We also have a psychology clinic, a nearby lab, child health care (BVC), and home healthcare.

About the Job:

You will work with both planned appointments, acute patient cases, and the investigation and treatment of patients at the clinic.

Home visits to patients enrolled in our home healthcare program occur, and you will be responsible for a group of home healthcare patients together with a district nurse.

We use the TakeCare journal system.

The position includes supervision of AT, BT, and ST doctors. A large part of the job involves teamwork with specialist nurses at the clinic and at BVC.

Qualifications:

We are looking for you who is a specialist in general medicine. We would like you to have an interest in supervising students, AT, BT, and ST doctors. As the responsible supervisor, you will have one hour of scheduled supervision per week for the doctor(s) you supervise. You will be responsible for your own patient list. If you have an interest in BVC, it can be included in the assignment.

We place great importance on personal suitability and professional treatment of both patients and staff.

Employment Type:

Permanent employment. Monday - Friday. Full-time. Possibly part-time if the applicant wishes. We apply flexible working hours. Start date according to agreement. A probationary period may be used.

  • employees who will have patient contact must undergo a pre-employment health examination, according to current directives, which is conducted through occupational health services before employment.
  • in addition to Swedish professional certification, good knowledge of the Swedish language corresponding to level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) is required. The same requirements apply to non-certified staff with patient contact.
