We are looking for a physiotherapist specializing in women's health to join the Rehabilitation Clinic in Ystad, located at the Gynecology Clinic. We are replacing a specialized physiotherapist who is retiring.

The Rehabilitation Clinic in Ystad is a unit responsible for rehabilitation within inpatient care, specialized outpatient care, and day rehabilitation. We consist of 40 employees with various professions such as occupational therapists, physiotherapists, social workers, nursing assistants, care assistants, medical secretaries, managerial support, and nurses. We work in teams with other professionals within the hospital's various departments and clinics.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Your placement will be at the gynecology clinic in Ystad. The gynecology clinic has approximately 5000 doctor visits per year and also performs minor outpatient procedures. Currently, a specialist physiotherapist works here, conducting their own consultations and group treatments, while also closely collaborating with doctors, midwives, nurses, nursing assistants, social workers, and medical secretaries.

We have a close and good interdisciplinary collaboration in a growing organization. We have a patient-centered focus, and the organization is constantly evolving. Your responsibilities will include assessing and rehabilitating patients with obstetric, gynecological, and urological diagnoses based on the latest evidence in the field.

You will have your own consultations and also lead group treatments. Part of the position involves assessing and rehabilitating men and women referred from the urology clinic. You will conduct consultations within inpatient care, for example, in maternity, postpartum, and surgical departments. At the clinic, you will be part of teams such as the endometriosis team and vulvar team.

You should have an interest in developing and implementing evidence-based methods for pelvic floor dysfunction and disseminating knowledge while contributing to professional development both internally and externally. Some weekend work in the hospital's departments is included in the position. We offer you an open and positive work environment characterized by personal responsibility, participation, and teamwork.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a licensed physiotherapist with permission to practice within Swedish healthcare. You should have language skills in Swedish at least equivalent to level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale.

Furthermore, you should have a genuine interest and experience in women's health and individuals with pelvic floor dysfunction. It is advantageous if you have a specialist physiotherapist education focusing on obstetrics, gynecology, and urology at an advanced level. Additionally, training and experience in conversation skills and group-led activities are beneficial.

We prefer candidates who are treatment-oriented, flexible, able to work independently, not afraid to take initiative, stress-resistant, and humble towards both patients and colleagues. These qualities contribute to your ability to provide high-quality care and build good relationships.
