We are looking for someone who wants to work as a resident physician in child and adolescent psychiatry (Bup) in Skåne, placed at our unit in Ystad.

The Bup operational area Kristianstad provides outpatient and intermediate care in Ystad, Hässleholm, and Kristianstad. The common inpatient care service is located in Malmö. The operations at Bup in Ystad consist of traditional outpatient care, infant and toddler services, as well as intermediate care.

The care is provided in interdisciplinary specialized teams with employees who have extensive experience and broad competence within the field. Bup is in a development phase where work with group activities has been identified as an important treatment opportunity at the units.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

With us, you will be offered clinical training as a resident physician under supervision, structured supervision conversations, courses, and seminars to achieve the goal description in the residency program.

Competence development is also offered through regular teaching, including at joint residency days (three to four times per semester). We have an engaged study director and experienced specialists who provide supervision. Additionally, there is a broad competence among other employees to gain knowledge about various tasks related to patient assessment, diagnostics, and pharmacological treatment.

During your training, you will serve at various units within Bup in Region Skåne, including with side training and service in adult psychiatry, pediatrics, and addiction care. On-call service in the combined child and adolescent psychiatry on-call line in Malmö is also included.

We offer a high-quality training position with great opportunities to develop both as a physician and a researcher. The structure of the position is planned in consultation with the unit manager, area manager, study director, and supervisor. The content follows the goal description established to achieve specialist competence in child and adolescent psychiatry. QUALIFICATIONS

We welcome you who are a licensed physician with the authority to practice within Swedish healthcare and who wish to become a specialist in child and adolescent psychiatry. Language skills in Swedish at least corresponding to level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale are a requirement. It is advantageous if you have previous experience working with children and families and preferably also from work within psychiatry.

As a person, you have excellent collaboration skills, a good demeanor, and an interest and commitment to developing care with the patient in focus. You will naturally contribute to a continued good work climate. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
