Make a difference. Every day.

Are you a passionate and experienced district nurse or nurse looking to work at a development-oriented health center with friendly colleagues, space for reflection, and professional development? Do you value working in multidisciplinary teams where we continuously develop the operations with a focus on medical quality and a good working environment? Then you should apply for the position with us!

The Laröd Health Center is a stable, well-functioning, and expanding unit with over 7000 registered patients and 275 registered children at the associated child health center (BVC).

With us, about 30 engaged employees work in various professional categories in interdisciplinary teams to provide the best possible care for our patients. The team consists of specialist doctors, training doctors, district nurses, nurses with specialist competence, nursing assistants, physiotherapists, psychologists, occupational therapists, dietitians, and secretaries.

We offer child health care (BVC), medical consultations, district nurse consultations, specialist nurse consultations for allergy-asthma-COPD, diabetes, hypertension, infections, lifestyle habits, vaccinations, memory clinics, and elderly care consultations, as well as consultations with occupational therapists, dietitians, physiotherapists, and psychologists.

We operate a smaller unit in nearby Mariastaden, a branch of the Laröd Health Center, where you will be primarily placed. Here we offer consultations with doctors, district nurses, nurses, physiotherapists, psychologists, dietitians, and child health care.

We are very proud of our good working environment with a focus on satisfied employees and patients, as well as high care quality. It is important for us to offer our patients good accessibility, respectful treatment, continuity, security, and high medical competence.

- As a nurse with us, you get to work with an engaged and warm team with a wonderful community, says nurse Maria Lanker. We work closely together across professional boundaries characterized by collaboration, openness, and knowledge sharing. There is always time to consult a colleague, bounce ideas, and develop together. In Mariastaden, we work in fresh, bright, and modern premises where the proximity between colleagues makes collaboration smooth and personal. I feel safe here and experience a positive environment where well-being and quality go hand in hand.

We are also proud to be an academic health center (AVC), which means research assignments from the Center for Primary Care Research (CPF), by building bridges between the academic world and primary care. We participate in several research studies on lifestyle habits, mental health/illness, and hypertension.
