We are looking for someone who wants to work as a resident doctor in child and adolescent psychiatry (Bup) in Skåne, based at our unit in Hässleholm.

The Bup area of Kristianstad provides outpatient and intermediate care in Ystad, Hässleholm, and Kristianstad. The shared inpatient care service is located in Malmö. The operations at Bup in Hässleholm consist of traditional outpatient care as well as infant and toddler services.

The care is provided in interdisciplinary specialized teams with staff who have extensive experience and broad expertise in the field. Bup is in a development phase where work with group activities has been identified as an important treatment option at the units.

RESPONSIBILITIES

With us, you will be offered clinical training as a resident doctor under supervision, structured supervisory conversations, courses, and seminars to achieve the goals outlined in the residency program.

Professional development is also offered through regular teaching, including at joint residency days (three to four times per semester). We have an engaged study director and experienced specialists who provide supervision. Additionally, there is a broad expertise among other staff members to gain knowledge from various tasks related to patient assessment, diagnostics, and pharmacological treatment.

During your training, you will work at different units within Bup in Region Skåne, including with side training and service in adult psychiatry, pediatrics, and addiction care. On-call duties in the combined child and adolescent psychiatry on-call line in Malmö are also included.

We offer a high-quality training position with great opportunities to develop both as a doctor and a researcher. The structure of the position is planned in consultation with the unit manager, area manager, study director, and supervisor. The content follows the goal description established to achieve specialist competence in child and adolescent psychiatry. QUALIFICATIONS

We welcome you who are a licensed physician with the authority to practice within Swedish healthcare, and who wishes to become a specialist in child and adolescent psychiatry. Language skills in Swedish at least corresponding to level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale are a requirement. It is an advantage if you have previous experience working with children and families and preferably also from work within psychiatry.

As a person, you have excellent collaboration skills, a good demeanor, and an interest and commitment to developing care with the patient in focus. You naturally contribute to a continued good working climate. Great importance is placed on personal suitability.
