School Nurse

Welcome to Nils Holgersson School, the free school in the heart of Österlen.

The school is a F-9 school that has been around for 30 years. Nils Holgersson School is a parent cooperative and an economic association.

You will be part of the school's student health team and have close contact with the school counselor, special education teachers, principal, and school doctor.

Responsibilities

As a school nurse with us, you will be part of the school's student health team and work closely with students, staff, and guardians. Your main responsibilities include:

• health talks and health visits for students in F-9

• vaccinations and open reception

• supporting students' physical and mental health

• working preventively and health-promoting according to the Education Act and the National Board of Health and Welfare's guidelines

• collaborating with the school's staff and external actors to create a good learning environment

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who:

is a licensed nurse

has specialized training in child and adolescent health care or district nursing with a focus on public health

has experience working with children and adolescents, preferably within schools or student health

has a genuine interest in health-promoting and preventive student health work

is independent, structured, and responsible

is flexible, social, and outgoing

has good collaboration skills and can create trusting relationships

is fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written

Meritorious

If you have previously worked as a school nurse
