Care Assistant for Resource Group in Home Care
Are you a care assistant who enjoys variety in your workday? Then this position is for you.
We are currently seeking care assistants for the resource group within home care, unit Arenan. As a care assistant in the resource group, you will work on a fixed schedule. For this position, the shifts are either day from 07:00 to 15:30 or evening from 15:00 to 23:00. You will be placed in unit Arenan and cover one of the resource areas in the region. This means you may be assigned to different work groups within the resource area based on the needs of the operation.
Job Responsibilities
As a resource care assistant, you will help and support clients with care interventions based on individual needs and preferences. You will assist clients with personal care, medical interventions performed under the delegation of a licensed nurse, cooking, cleaning, shopping, and laundry.
In addition to practical work, you will also need to document events related to the client and maintain contact with the client's relatives. Your work includes providing advice and information, as well as motivating and encouraging clients to do as much as possible independently. In your daily work, you will also collaborate with home healthcare, rehabilitation, case managers, and other home care groups.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who has:
- Care assistant education with passing grades
- Proof of protected professional title (care assistant) from the National Board of Health and Welfare or a certificate from an employer confirming you had a permanent position as a care assistant on 1/7 2023
- Ability to cycle
- Good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written
- Experience using a computer as a tool and assistance, and a willingness and ability to quickly learn new programs and systems
It is considered an advantage if you have:
- Experience with dementia and/or psychiatry
- Knowledge of LifeCare and Senior Alert
- A driving license

We travel by bicycle, so it is important that you can and want to cycle in all weather conditions.

At Arenan, we are an engaged and dedicated team consisting of ten sections – and we will soon grow to eleven. Our unit is located in the area around Malmö's two large arenas, providing a dynamic and inspiring work environment. You will work in a resource group alongside colleagues and will be booked across a resource area. Arenan is divided into two resource areas.
