Are you our next star for our Food department? Do you have a burning interest in food safety and are ready for the next step in your career? Then you might be the one we are looking for!
About the role:
Kiwa Certification is currently a leading company in the certification of food standards. We work with FSSC, BRC, IFS, MSC/ASC, KRAV, EU organic, GRMS, etc. As a food auditor, you will be Kiwa's most important contact point with our customers where you will plan and conduct audits against agreed standards. If you are already working as a food safety auditor or have extensive experience in quality work within the food processing and/or packaging industry, this could be the next challenge in your career. You will have all of Scandinavia as your work field, and in some cases, assignments in Europe may also occur. This makes the role both varied and challenging and requires that you have the ability to travel for work. As a food auditor, you are the face of Kiwa, which means you will actively work to promote Kiwa and our services, which in turn contributes to Kiwa's growth.
The role involves traveling with at least one, often 2-3, overnight stays per week with opportunities to work from home when you are not traveling. We prefer that you reside in Stockholm or southern Sweden.
Do you have what it takes?
To thrive in the position, we believe you are a social and outgoing person driven by creating good customer relationships. As a food auditor, you are the one who meets our customers, and therefore we see that you are customer-oriented and professional in your role. You are curious and inquisitive with high integrity. We expect you to be meticulous and have the ability to work independently, always managing to meet set deadlines. Through your interest in quality and food safety work, we believe you are proactive in ensuring high standards and continuous improvements.
We see that you have:
- At least 3 years of academic education in food, microbiology, process engineering, or equivalent
- At least 5 years of experience as a quality manager or worked with food safety issues
- Experience in report writing
- Driving license category B
- Good knowledge of Swedish and English in speech and writing
It is an advantage if you have experience from several different segments within the food industry, especially experience from slaughterhouses and meat is most meritorious.
What can you expect from us in return?
Kiwa is currently one of the most successful companies in inspection, testing, certification, and technical consulting, thanks to our employees who, through their commitment and knowledge, contribute security and sustainability to our customers and society. Therefore, Kiwa invests significantly in its employees and their development. Through your daily work, interesting projects, and training, you and your skills will constantly develop as part of Kiwa! With us, teamwork is essential, and together we create a positive work environment where we are all part of a larger community, the Kiwa community!
- Secure and stable employment - Kiwa has collective agreements
- Generous wellness allowance
- Compensation for medical care, vaccinations, and the opportunity for a thorough health analysis
- A time bank so you can take time off when you want - not just when the calendar's red days occur
- The opportunity to join Kiwa's ski trip with about 100 wonderful colleagues
