Your responsibilities

Your duties will mainly consist of supervision within the scope of the Environmental Code, but supervision within food legislation may occur, depending on needs and competence.

At our company, you will work largely independently with your cases, but you will also have close cooperation with the department's other inspectors, as it is important to us that we support and help each other in our work. In a smaller municipality, the tasks are varied. The work involves planning and conducting supervision, handling complaints, processing applications and notifications. We also inform operators and the public about current legislation and recommendations. You make decisions according to extensive delegation and prepare and present cases for decisions in the committee. We use the case management system EDP Vision.

You will have the opportunity for flexible hours and, to some extent, work from home, when the business allows. You will also have good opportunities to plan and manage your own work.

We are looking for

You have a university education in natural sciences with a focus on environmental and health protection, food inspection or other education and experience that we consider suitable. A B driving license is required for this job.

You are not afraid to learn new things. In your role, you meet residents, operators and authorities, which is why great importance will be attached to personal suitability. It is important that you want to contribute to the development of the business. You are structured and take responsibility for your cases.

Experience of examination and supervision according to the Environmental Code is meritorious but not necessary.
