About the Role

• Start Date: As soon as possible
• Employment Type: 6-month fixed-term contract – with a chance of extension
• Location: Luleå/Piteå
• Working Hours: 07:30–16:30

As a Food Safety Technician at Anticimex, you will work closely with customers in the food industry, such as producers, restaurants, cafes, and shops. Your tasks include inspections, risk assessments, sampling, and pest control. You will document findings and actions, collaborating with customers and colleagues to ensure sustainable and effective solutions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections and risk assessments for customers in the food industry
• Provide advice and support in implementing and following up on hygiene and quality systems
• Perform sampling, which is sent for analysis
• Preventive pest control, including preventive and eradication measures
• Enhance customer competence in good hygiene practices and preventive work

About You

We are looking for someone who is service-oriented, structured, and solution-focused. You thrive working independently with customers but also collaborate well in a team. The role requires strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical aspects in an understandable way to different audiences.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in food science or equivalent practical experience from the food industry/environmental and health protection
• Valid driver's license (Category B)
• Good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written
• Proficient in using digital tools

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in food control, quality assurance, hygiene, or similar fields is an advantage
• Experience with sampling
• Previous work in advisory roles or customer contact
