As a KMA Coordinator, you are responsible for integrating quality, environment, and occupational health and safety into the daily operations of projects, ensuring compliance with current legislation, industry requirements, and the company's internal guidelines. The role involves close collaboration with project management, production managers, and other functions to create a safe, efficient, and quality-conscious workplace.
The work includes both strategic and operational tasks. You participate in the development of management systems, routines, and work processes while providing support in production. You drive and follow up on KMA work through risk assessments, occupational health and safety plans, control plans, safety rounds, and deviation management. A key part of the assignment is to identify areas for improvement, develop action plans, and ensure that decided measures are implemented and followed up.
You are also responsible for ensuring that necessary documentation, permits, and checklists are up to date, and you participate in project meetings, audits, and training initiatives to strengthen knowledge within quality, environment, and occupational health and safety. The role often involves responsibility for multiple projects or production units, where tasks are adapted to the needs of the business.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has relevant education in quality, occupational health and safety, environment, or safety, along with several years of experience in qualified KMA work within construction, civil engineering, or production operations.
- Has good knowledge of occupational health and safety and environmental legislation, experience in systematic occupational health and safety work, and management systems such as ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.
- Has experience with audits, risk management, contact with authorities, and digital systems for document and deviation management (meritorious).
To succeed in the role, you are structured, solution-oriented, and communicative. You thrive when collaborating with different professional groups, have a drive to develop working methods, and actively contribute to a strong safety and quality culture. You express yourself fluently in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing, and have good computer skills and a valid driver's license (Category B).
