Job Responsibilities

We are looking for a student employee, specializing in environmental and health protection inspection, who is interested in participating in and contributing to supervision work. As a student employee at Stenungsund Municipality, you will have the opportunity to practice your academic knowledge through assignments within our operations, parallel to your studies. We offer you relevant and qualified work experience, a mentor, valuable contacts, and a salary.

Your duties include, among other things:

• Support in supervision according to the Environmental Code
• Inventory and mapping of operations
• Collection and compilation of documentation
• Participation in inspections together with case handlers
• Administrative tasks related to cases

Qualifications and Merits

We are looking for someone who:

• Studies to become an Environmental and Health Protection Inspector throughout the entire period (Autumn 2026), e.g., the course in Environmental and Health Protection for Natural Scientists at the University of Gothenburg. • Is responsible, structured, and able to work independently
• Enjoys communicating and collaborating with various stakeholders
• Has good computer skills
• Has very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written

Meritorious:

• Previous experience from public operations or authority enforcement
• Interest in environmental issues, sustainability, or supervision work
• Experience with administrative tasks or project work
