Do you want to work close to production and contribute to safe, sustainable, and well-functioning projects? At Peab Sweden, you will have an important role in developing work within quality, environment, and occupational health and safety as our organization in Östersund grows.

About the role

As a QHSE Coordinator (Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment), you will become a central part of our project teams, as occupational health and safety is our top priority. You work close to production and support issues related to quality, environment, and occupational health and safety. You are out in the field where the action is – acting as an advisor, sounding board, and support for foremen and site managers. This may involve participating in safety rounds, creating chemical inventories, following up on accidents and incidents, and providing training and support in the area.

You contribute to ensuring our projects are carried out according to current requirements and help develop working methods that create both structure and improvement. The role also involves contact with customers and subcontractors, as well as participation in follow-ups and audits. You also contribute to risk assessments, self-control checks, and improvement work within the QHSE area.

About you

We are looking for someone who thrives close to production activities and enjoys collaborating. You are structured, communicative, and have the ability to build trust with colleagues, customers, and subcontractors. You have an interest in quality, environment, and occupational health and safety, and possess good skills in Swedish, both spoken and written. A valid driver's license (Category B) is required.

Your background includes previous study or work experience within the QHSE area. Experience from construction, civil engineering, or industrial operations is considered a merit.
