Bräcke Municipality and Ånge Municipality have a joint committee for building and environmental issues. Bräcke is the host municipality for the committee and the associated administration. The administration currently consists of 17 employees and has offices in both Bräcke and Ånge.

WORK RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for an employee for the Bräcke and Ånge Building and Environmental Administration in the area of environmental and health protection. The work includes, among other things, processing incoming cases and planning and exercising supervision within the scope of the Environmental Code. Advisory and information to businesses and citizens as well as preparing cases for the committee are also part of the position.

You will be part of a group with other environmental and health protection inspectors and a group leader.

You work independently and plan, carry out, and follow up on work tasks. We also place great value on the ability, willingness, and engagement to collaborate across administrative and departmental boundaries as well as with other authorities. The work tasks are very varied and there are good opportunities for competence development.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who have a suitable university education, for example a bachelor's degree in environmental and health protection or other education or experience that we consider equivalent.

It is meritorious if you have experience of examination and supervision according to the Environmental Code or other authority exercise.

You hold a driver's license for a passenger car and it is meritorious if you have good knowledge of the Office package and experience from the business system Ecos 2.

As a person, you are proactive and quickly get into new work tasks. You organize and plan your work well, have the ability to drive the work forward, and can work both independently and in a group.

You are careful, structured, independent, and responsible with the ability to prioritize. You are comfortable with authority exercise so you can make demands, make decisions, and have a good dialogue with business operators and citizens.

The work is largely outward-facing both via email, phone, and personal meetings, which requires that you can express yourself clearly and correctly in Swedish in speech and writing. You have the ability to meet many different types of people with different needs in a professional and respectful way and see good service as a matter of course.
