Team Leader for the Reception Unit

We have identified a need to expand our team with a team leader for our Reception Unit as we want to maintain a good working environment and a sustainable work life! Do you want to make a difference? Welcome with your application today!

About the Workplace

In the city, the social administration is responsible for individual and family care. Our mission is to enable the city's residents to become independent in life so that they can take an active part in society. We have undergone an exciting organizational change focusing on creating a more accessible social service based on three main areas: authority, interventions, and services as well as housing. We have high ambitions. But to succeed, we need you.

Working with authority at our place means you will have the opportunity to be part of the developing time in social work that lies ahead of us, with new social service legislation. The authority area consists of nine units with a total of about 190 employees working with the city's residents of all ages.

Job Responsibilities

At the Reception, which belongs to the authority, you will lead a team of 14 employees together with your unit manager and a fellow team leader. As a team leader, you will be part of a network with the other 14 team leaders in the authority, a group that together has a very broad competence and where everyone is helpful and caring towards each other.

We work with our residents' best interests in focus, using ourselves as tools. For us, collaboration, both internally and externally, is important to provide our residents with the best possible response and understanding of the social administration's mission.

Your role as a team leader is to lead, distribute, and coordinate the team's work, as well as to be responsible for efficiency, productivity, and quality. The work includes ensuring that laws, guidelines, and ethical principles are followed to provide support and services to the city's residents. The team leader acts as an operational and present leader for the employees, which means supporting and coaching the team in daily work, acting as an expert resource, and having knowledge of the breadth of the team's target group. We are now looking for someone with at least four years of experience in authority work within social services at a reception unit.

What We Offer

A workplace where you as an employee are important and where your work makes a difference. Opportunities for personal and professional development. A structured support system and access to competent colleagues and management. We offer you an exciting assignment where you will work closely with operations in a leading position. You will come to a friendly environment where humor and an open climate for dialogue are a given.

Qualifications

The following is required for the job:

  • Degree in Social Work
  • At least four years of experience in authority work within social services at a reception unit.
  • Experience in interpreting and practicing adequate legislation.
  • Experience in practicing evidence-based methods.
  • Ability to easily use and learn digital systems and express yourself in Swedish in speech and writing.

Meritorious:

  • Experience working as a leader.
  • Courses in leadership, such as developing leadership, coaching leadership, or similar.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
