We offer activities based on the children's own interests and encourage both physical and calm options. Each child and youth is met with great attentiveness, respect, and warm engagement from our staff.

About the Role of Support Assistant

As a support assistant, you will work to provide individually tailored support to individuals with disabilities, aiming to promote their independence and well-being in everyday life. You will support users in their daily routines and activities, based on their needs and abilities, always using their personal implementation plan as a starting point.

We work with a salutogenic and pedagogical approach, focusing on each individual's unique strengths and resources. The goal is for users to achieve as much independence as possible and to live a meaningful life with high quality of life. As a support assistant, you work based on clarifying pedagogy and low-arousal responses to create safety and predictability in users' daily lives. At the same time, we have a strong focus on working professionally and efficiently within the resources and budget of the organization.

Qualifications

You are relationship-building, calm, stable, and can maintain a realistic perspective on situations that arise in daily work. You have good collaboration skills and relate to others in a responsive manner, enjoying working with others. You are an independent, humble, and responsible person who appreciates care work and can see the individual's needs.

We place great importance on personal suitability.

Requirements:
  • Very good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written.

  • Good computer skills, experience with documentation.

  • Experience working in care and support.

  • Upper secondary education such as child and leisure program, care and support program, or post-secondary education such as support pedagogue, social pedagogue, or university education in a relevant field.

It is advantageous if you also have:
  • Experience with LSS, AAC, and low-arousal responses.

  • Worked with complex support needs.

Employment Type: Substitute Support Assistant with a good chance of permanent schedule Working Hours: Working hours may include weekdays, evenings, weekends, and/or nights) Start Date: By agreement, we view positively if you can start soon. Collective Agreement: We are bound by collective agreements with Vårdföretagarna/Kommunal, Branch E.
