As a group leader with us, you will play a central role in the development and improvement work of the organization.

You will work closely with both users and staff to map, further develop, and implement new work strategies and report to the unit manager who is responsible for the work environment and budget.

In this key role, you will contribute to ensuring individualized support and developing a pedagogical and professional approach among employees.

Your role

Your role includes making everyday life more understandable, safe, and meaningful for our users. This means:

  • Supporting residents in expressing their needs, strengthening their independence and participation.
  • Creating security through social interaction, activities, and a stimulating environment.
  • Developing and implementing individual documentation and response plans.
  • Guiding and supporting colleagues in pedagogical methods, professional ethics, and daily work.
  • Coordinating collaboration with relatives and interdisciplinary teams.
  • In consultation with the unit manager, being responsible for staff planning during employee leave and absence.
  • Implementing routines and ensuring that routines and working methods are followed.

Your qualifications and experience

We are looking for someone who is educated as a support pedagogue, behavioral scientist, social worker, or has another equivalent education. You have at least two years of current experience working with people with disabilities. You also have solid knowledge of and can apply relevant laws, guidelines, policies, and routines.

We consider it an advantage to have experience in:

  • current experience working in service housing/group housing according to LSS and/or support housing according to SoL.
  • leading staff in pedagogical issues.
  • experience in supervisory work within LSS group housing/service housing.
  • working with clarifying pedagogy.

The Social Services Department is responsible for the care of people with disabilities, individual and family care, financial assistance, and labor market measures, as well as field and leisure activities. In 2025, the responsibility for playground activities will be transferred to the department. For certain positions within the Social Services Department, a criminal record check may be required.
