I am looking for an assistant who is a sharp-minded person, enjoys intellectual challenges, and is familiar with the IT world.

I have a muscle disease, and you will compensate for my weak muscles. I will guide you in my daily life, which means no prior experience is necessary. The most important thing is that we work well together and that you can take both an active and passive role in my life.

I use an electric wheelchair and need lifting and transferring assistance, which means you need to be physically fit and have no back problems. Since we have a dog at home, you should not be allergic to dogs.

Your tasks will involve helping with basic needs, transfers using manual lifts, handling medical equipment, medication, and everything that is part of a household, such as cleaning, laundry, bed-making, cooking, and shopping.

I am looking for someone who

• is a stable and secure person with a flexible approach to the varying conditions of the job. You are attentive, observant, and communicative.

• has a good ability to memorize information and routines and follow them

• is responsible, meticulous, punctual, and reliable

• speaks and understands Swedish fluently

• is non-smoker

• is physically strong and practically oriented

It is important that you understand my need for privacy and to have control over my own life. If you see assistance as care and support, you are not the right person to work with me.

You do not need any education or prior experience in assistance work, but a willingness to learn and perform the job well is essential. Having work experience from a completely different field is considered an advantage. Personal suitability is highly valued. You should live in or near Tyresö.

You will receive an introduction from me along with an experienced assistant.

Application

The position is 75%, mainly during the day and evening. Night shifts may occur.
