Our organization has transitioned to a first-line social service with a single entry point for citizens, meaning that all cases are initially handled by a common reception unit. Investigations and further measures then take place in a second line. This approach aims to make social services more accessible and effective for everyone in need of support. JOB DESCRIPTION

We are expanding and are now looking for two social workers for our follow-up unit. The positions involve working with the follow-up of children placed in foster homes.

In Skövde, social services are organized to provide the best possible support for both employees and families. When an investigation leads to a decision on intervention, our unit takes over and ensures that children and youth receive the right help and support over time. The work is done closely with colleagues, supported by the lead social worker, SUA, and our social administrators.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a degree in social work who wants to make a real difference for children and youth. You have a good ability to create and maintain trusting relationships and meet children, parents, and families with respect, attentiveness, and commitment. Your interest in child development and understanding of different life situations enables you to provide support based on each child's unique needs.

You thrive in a role where case management, documentation, and collaboration are a natural part of everyday life, and you find it easy to express yourself both verbally and in writing. We value your willingness and courage to think innovatively and contribute to the development of our working methods.

A valid driver's license (B) is a requirement. Experience in case management within the child and youth sector, as well as good knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations within social child welfare, is advantageous.
