Personal assistance is a service according to LSS (the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to individuals who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Each customer is unique, and your tasks vary based on the customer's needs. You respect the customer's self-determination and privacy while contributing to a smooth daily life.

About the position

The role of a personal assistant requires a high ability to create good relationships. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is attentive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take your own initiative and see what needs to be done.

Our customer is a positive and cheerful man living with cerebral palsy and an intellectual disability. He moves around with the help of his power wheelchair and communicates using the Bliss symbol language. He enjoys swimming and going on outings.

We are now looking for someone who meets the following criteria:

• wants to work with a man in his 40s residing in Ystad
• has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• has experience communicating using Bliss or similar
• has a B driver's license as the customer has a car that the assistants drive
• can swim with the customer

It is also advantageous if you:

• have experience in similar work
• have experience working with lifting aids

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Working hours, employment rate, and salary:

The current employment form is "As long as the assistance assignment lasts" and the position is at 67%. The job involves work during daytime, evening, and night on weekdays and weekends. Working hours are from 07:00 to 18:00 and 18:00 to 07:00 (active night).

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other compensations are in accordance with collective agreements.

Start date

Immediately.
