Our client is a positive boy who has a developmental delay which causes difficulties with motor skills and communication. He lives in Båstad with his mother, father, and three younger siblings. The family leads an active and meaningful everyday life, where you as an assistant will be involved. Helping with physiotherapy, during meals, and activities such as cycling are some of the tasks. Complementary communication uses signs and pictures (TAKK/AKK). Experience in this is a plus but not a requirement. The most important thing is that you are attentive, learn to interpret our client's expressions and body language, and that you connect with our client and the family. We will teach you the rest.

Who are you?

You are expected to have a great empathetic ability and a good understanding of what appropriate interaction means. You have a lot of energy, patience, and enjoy being outdoors. There will be some lifting and activities at floor level, so you need to be in good physical shape and enjoy engaging our client. You are positive and loyal in your work and can interact with our client and his family. Your workplace is in Båstad.

Education and/or experience working with children and/or in someone's home is an asset. The work includes afternoons and evenings as well as weekends.
