Personal assistance is an intervention according to LSS (the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to individuals who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Each client is unique, and your tasks will vary based on the client's needs. You respect the client's autonomy and privacy, and contribute to making everyday life run smoothly.

About the position

The role of a personal assistant places high demands on the ability to create good relationships. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is attentive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take initiative and see what needs to be done.

The client lives an active life with their family, which includes training and travel.

We are now looking for someone who meets the following criteria:

• wants to work with a man in his 60s living in Viken
• has experience in similar work or in healthcare and social services
• has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• has a driver's license and a car (to get to the workplace)
• is physically fit and shares the client's interests in training such as boxing, personal training, and walking
• can tolerate pets as there is a friendly dog in the client's home
• is smoke-free

It is also advantageous if you:

• have experience with lifting/mobility aids
• have some education in healthcare/social services
• are interested in cooking

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Working hours, employment rate, and salary:

The current employment form is "As long as the assistance assignment lasts" and the position is approximately 40% with the possibility of a larger working rate. The position involves work during daytime, evening, and night. Working hours are 09:00-23:00, 18:00-09:00, and 09:00-09:00 with 8 hours of on-call duty at night.

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other compensation will be in accordance with collective agreements.

Start date

Immediately or by agreement.

Being employed at Humana

A prerequisite for starting employment with us at Humana is that you can present a valid ID and any documents that support your right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.
