Your Role

Within Surface and Aircraft Systems, we work with complex systems used on platforms such as fighter jets and warships. As a System Integrator, you will test entire EW systems with a strong focus on software, participating in preparation, execution, documentation, and analysis of our system tests. Automation and development to improve our environment is a natural part of your role, and you will also evaluate results from simulations to ensure that hardware and software meet customer expectations. Sometimes this means that you will collaborate with a development colleague to discover and solve any issues that arise in the system.

You will be part of a close-knit team

You will be part of a close-knit team of around 15 people, which is now expanding to meet the increasing demand. Our group is welcoming, and we value collaboration, positivity, and humility.

Travel is part of the role

Travel is part of the role and may sometimes involve longer periods of work on-site with our customers.

Your Profile

To succeed in this role, you need not only practical hardware and software skills but also the ability to structure, document, and plan your work. Enjoy combining hardware with software. We are looking for someone with:

• A degree in Engineering or a related field
• 3 years of experience as a System Integrator and/or Network Specialist
• Experience in verification and familiarity with creating verification reports
• Willingness to travel for work, both domestically and internationally
• Good knowledge of both Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Familiarity with the defense industry (preferable)

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable security protection regulations. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may involve requirements for specific citizenship.
